Should You Move Back To The Province

You should move back to the province if the work you can actually get still feeds the house and the quieter life is the point — not if you are only running from a bad week.

City rent, city traffic, city status. Province rice, province gossip, fewer jobs. Both are real. Fantasy is pretending only one side has a bill.

What must you count?

Job, school, hospital distance, internet if your work needs it, the family politics waiting at the old house. Count before you post a sunset.

What is a trial, not a forever?

A month home to test the commute to the new job. Selling everything on a mood is how men get stuck twice.

What about pride?

"Bumalik ka?" Let them talk. A life you can carry is not a demotion. A life you perform in a studio you hate is.

Frequently asked questions

What if the province has no work?
Then it is a visit, not a plan. Love of home cannot invent a payroll.

What if your wife hates the idea?
You do not move a marriage as a solo adventure. Either you convince with numbers, or you stay and improve the city life you have.
